\u201c <\/span><\/span><\/span>O primeiro bar\u00f3metro mensal das condi\u00e7\u00f5es econ\u00f3micas realizado pela Confedera\u00e7\u00e3o Empresarial de Portugal (CIP \u2013 <\/span><\/span><\/span>Confedera\u00e7\u00e3o Empresarial de Portugal<\/span><\/span><\/span><\/i> ) e pelo Instituto <\/span><\/span><\/span>Superior de Economia e Gest\u00e3o<\/span><\/span><\/span><\/i> (ISEG ) <\/span><\/span><\/span> prev\u00ea um crescimento anual para 2023 entre 2,1% e 2,9%<\/span><\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

A economia portuguesa dever\u00e1 crescer 2,5% em 2023 <\/span><\/span><\/b>, de acordo com o primeiro bar\u00f3metro mensal sobre a situa\u00e7\u00e3o econ\u00f3mica, realizado pela Confedera\u00e7\u00e3o Empresarial de Portugal e pela Universidade de Economia e Gest\u00e3o, divulgado a 26 de junho.<\/span><\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

\u201cCom base na informa\u00e7\u00e3o parcial dispon\u00edvel, assume-se que o crescimento anual no segundo trimestre \u00e9 mais prov\u00e1vel de se manter ao n\u00edvel registado no primeiro trimestre, o que corresponde a um crescimento relativamente baixo da cadeia, mas ao n\u00edvel registado na segunda metade do ano anterior\u201d, refere o documento.<\/span><\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

As expectativas para o segundo trimestre \u201cpermitem consolidar a previs\u00e3o de crescimento anual para 2023 entre 2,1% e 2,9%, focada em 2,5%\u201d, refere o bar\u00f3metro. <\/span>A previs\u00e3o do CIP e do ISEG para 2023 \u00e9 superior \u00e0 prevista pelo Governo no Programa de Estabilidade (1,8%), mas inferior \u00e0 avan\u00e7ada pelo Banco de Portugal (2,7%).<\/span><\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

This is the first barometer of the conjuncture that results from a protocol between CIP and ISEG, which includes economic climate indicators, confidence indicators by sectors and consumers, industrial production index, turnover in services and retail trade and the evolution of the trend indicator and expectations for the following quarter.<\/span><\/p>\n

In the monthly barometer, for May, CIP and ISEG highlight the drop in confidence indicators of all sectors and the reduction in the industrial production index, which, they emphasise, “substantiates fears about Portuguese economic developments”.<\/span><\/p>\n

\u201cWith inflation slowing, the biggest downside risk factor for Portugal appears to be the slowdown in growth in Germany and the euro area and the duration of that slowdown.\u201d However, it was added: “Investment growth by the end of the year could contribute to higher growth in Portugal.”<\/span><\/p>\n

In a statement, CIP\u2019s President, Armindo Monteiro, said that the barometer aims to “collect concrete information about the economy” to allow “economic and political decision-makers” to find in the document “a scientifically robust basis for making decisions and anticipating trends and problems”.<\/span><\/p>\n

Jo\u00e3o Duque, Professor of Finance and President of ISEG, emphasizes that the partnership with CIP “broadens the scope of this information on the pulse of the economic situation, orienting it even more to the interest of economic decision-makers, while maintaining the same scientific rigor. <\/span>\u201d<\/b><\/p>\n

\u201c<\/b>The organization shows growing optimism with the Portuguese economy. Wages and energy have a positive rating<\/b><\/p>\n

The OECD predicts that Portugal will grow 2.5% in 2023, well above the forecast for the Eurozone (0.9%) and even the average of the countries that make up the Organization for Economic Cooperation and Development (1.4%).<\/span><\/p>\n

After a forecast, in November 2022, of a much more modest growth of the Portuguese economy in 2023 (1%), the OECD thus joins other international organizations that are revising upwards the projections for our country, taking into account the good performance of several indicators in recent months, such as exports.<\/span><\/p>\n

In May, the European Commission forecasted that Portugal would grow 2.4% in 2023, when the January projection was only 1%, while the IMF, which in October 2022 pointed to a modest growth of 0.7%, was more optimistic and projected a growth of 2.6%.<\/span><\/p>\n

Ganhos sobre sal\u00e1rios reais<\/span><\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

Segundo a OCDE, os sal\u00e1rios reais em Portugal foram a terceira menor queda em 2022, apenas superados pela Coreia e pelo Canad\u00e1. <\/span>O rendimento dispon\u00edvel real das fam\u00edlias cresceu perto de 2% em 2022.<\/span><\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

No que diz respeito aos apoios \u00e0s fam\u00edlias e empresas, de forma a mitigar os efeitos da crise energ\u00e9tica decorrente da invas\u00e3o da Ucr\u00e2nia, a OCDE coloca Portugal como o 5.\u00ba pa\u00eds com melhor resposta, em percentagem do PIB, dos 41 pa\u00edses mais desenvolvidos do mundo analisado. <\/span><\/span><\/span>\u201d<\/span><\/span><\/b><\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
